The starting salary is £22,183 (Level One) rising to £23,541 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

The Skills Access Hub provides SMEs with high quality, impartial advice to meet their training and workforce development needs with a focus on Skills and Apprenticeships. We are looking for a dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail who will be responsible for ensuring the ESF Skills Access Hub is compliant with all European contract guidelines including:
  • Supporting the Project Manager to ensure compliance with all Nottingham City Council (Accountable Body) administrative and financial procedures
  • Ensuring the evidence provided by external delivery partners are compliant with all ESF funding and governance requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience of submitting European funding claims on behalf of a multi partner European funded project
  • Experience of financial management systems including budget preparation, resource planning and monitoring, and financial forecasting
  • Highly developed IT Skills, particularly in the area of collation and presentation of financial information
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of designing and producing management information reports.
  • A sound knowledge of the legal and financial implications of European funded project delivery, such as State Aid
