Key Responsibilities & Tasks
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality math lessons that engage and challenge students, fostering a love for English and a deep understanding of the subject.
- Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to achieve their full potential in math.
- Assessment and Progress Tracking: Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and tracking their development, implementing strategies to support and accelerate learning.
- Classroom Management: As an English teacher you will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behaviour and promoting a culture of respect and collaboration.
- Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues, sharing best practices, resources, and ideas to enhance teaching and learning. Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in math education.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise and qualification to teach English.
- As an English Teacher you should have a strong passion for English and the ability to inspire students with your enthusiasm and subject knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Effective classroom management skills, maintaining an engaging and orderly learning environment where students thrive.
- The ability to plan and deliver creative and innovative lessons that cater to the diverse needs of learners, promoting active participation and critical thinking.
- Hold a DBS registered to the update service or apply through GSL Education.
