We are looking for a passionate and ambitious English Teaching Assistant who boasts a strong academic record with a 2:1 or above. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and have the drive to inspire their pupils about the English Language and show them how enjoyable this subject is. You will have the ability to be able work on a 1:1 basis or within a small group, supporting low ability and gifted and talented pupils within KS3 and KS4. You have the opportunity to help the pupils tackle aspects of the curriculum and prepare for exams when required with a supportive and professional manner. We want to meet graduates who can pass on their subject knowledge, enabling easy learning and clear communication. You should possess a need to get involved in new areas of teaching and a supportive, nurturing outlook. We want to recruit a English Teaching Assistant who has the skills to inspire pupils at all times and help raise attainment within the English Department.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who can join the English department with an open mind and be willing to take on extra duties if required to assist the students and department.
