What You’ll DoTest & Development SupervisorEaton - Mission Systems Division (MSD) is the world’s leading provider of hose and drogue Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) and Actuation systems. Eaton work directly with the aircraft manufacturers and end-users to develop systems that achieve their operations in challenging environments, safely and successfully.As a Test And Development Supervisor, Your Responsibilities Include
  • Applying environmental and functional test expertise to the design, development and delivery of new aerospace products, processes and technologies.
  • Managing a small number of direct reports, including supporting the developing and conducting performance reviews.
  • Conducting reviews of other test engineers outputs, including verification plans, procedures and results documents.
  • Conducting readiness reviews for tests
  • Supporting the test engineering manager with functional improvements and strategies.
  • Employing the appropriate discipline processes, practices, and tools to ensure that responsibilities are completed to meet the required project requirements and discipline quality.
  • Conducting verification activities on aerospace components and systems.
  • Creating verification documentation to demonstrate compliance to customer and internal requirements
QualificationsAbout you:
  • Experience in creating plan and performing development, verification activities within aerospace, with it desirable to be within the military domain
  • An understanding of aerospace standards, including RTCA DO-160.
  • Experience in reviewing and approving verification documentation
  • Experience in any of the following test conditions: environmental, vibration, wind tunnel, flight test, functional.
  • Have a safety critical Engineering background/ qualification
  • Be a pro active self-starter, who enjoys being part of a team
