The purpose of this role is to support Henry Schein UK&I business with our internal communications, TSM engagement and our external employer brand across several channels, alongside coordinating wellbeing & ESG activities to keep TSMs feeling informed, engaged, and connected with our goals and successes, driving a ‘One Schein’ culture.


Job Responsibilities:

The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

Internal Communications & Engagement:

  • Work with the HR Director, HR Business Partners and company stakeholders to create, develop, and execute dynamic multi-channel communications strategies that inspire and connect TSMs, internally sharing best practice and building up knowledge transfer for HS UK&I.
  • Create exceptional in-person and virtual internal comms and engagement calendar, such as Town Halls and Kick-Off events, supporting the Dental Executive Committee (DEC) members and the Global Communications Team as appropriate to launch and embed key people initiatives.
  • Draft internal comms for the UK&I Leadership team and distribute Group communications effectively
  • Plan and drive specific ad hoc communications programmes (multi-channel) based upon a deep understanding of TSM audiences and deliver simple clear and effective comms that cut through in a busy environment.
  • Set house style guides and Employer Brand guidelines which promote our value proposition
  • Work with the Director of HR and Business Partners to co-ordinate overall UK&I response to Pulse Survey outcomes

Wellbeing:

  • Work with HR Partners to develop and deliver employee wellbeing initiatives which will ensure they maintain a positive working environment where individuals can thrive.
  • Deploy and run the HR wellbeing engagement plan through the co-creation and deployment of content that will enhance our employee’s wellbeing and continue to demonstrate Henry Schein’s commitment to good health.
  • Underpin the wellbeing engagement plan with a clear wellbeing brand and proposition
  • Define, measure and report performance of the wellbeing engagement plan, assessing ROIs and KPIs using data analytics.

ESG:

  • Support the delivery of communication and engagement activities for the UK&I’s ESG Committee
  • To support the delivery of the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy and activity throughout the year, including providing action updates.
  • Support the ESG committee in the development of an internal and external communications plan to build awareness, understanding, and advocacy for our ESG work, including coordinating with the global team as required to ensure consistent and effective communication of key global themes.
  • Support the ESG Committee to devise methods for increasing TSM engagement with ERG activities, research, and opportunities to engage with initiatives
  • Engage with and support partners as appropriate to help deliver the UK&I’s ERG initiatives
Qualifications

Skill & Experience:

  • Ability to manage and deliver internal communications programmes.
  • Experience of generating and writing compelling and authentic content.
  • Confident with using a range of technology to support engagement, happy to use new systems and ways of working.
  • building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work with communications partners
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal approach, with excellent written and verbal communications skills required
  • Details-oriented and used to thriving in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment
  • Confident and able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities and accomplishing simultaneous demands in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations required. Must be effective at promoting collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • Managing Projects effectively
  • Multi – channel content development & publishing
  • Demonstrable social media experience in managing, monitoring, and promoting brand engagement
  • Desirable candidate will have experience in content marketing, social media or similar audience engagement role, or a background in generalist HR wellbeing and engagement initiatives with a proven record of launching and embedding successful programmes.
