Are you ready for your next challenge?Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic End User Compute Specialist. We require an experienced individual who can actively engage with all elements of the business to understand and capture current end user compute requirements and challenges then translate this into a deliverable plan that provides a safe and appropriate environment for users to work in.New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.This is a varied technical hands-on role that involves working closely with all areas of IM&T, specifically Service Delivery Manager and Infrastructure Application Specialists as well as the wider organisationYou will need to have and be able to demonstrate skills in the following area: -
  • Exceptional Technical skills in EUC specialist areas – OS Build and deployment, management, application delivery and Identity profiling
  • Thorough understanding and extensive experience of Microsoft Windows, Group Policy, MECM, VDI, end user devices, MDM and other related technologies
  • Understanding of current Microsoft and NHS technologies and roadmap that affect EUC delivery
  • Communication and Relationship Skills
  • Analytical and Judgmental Skills
  • Planning and Organisational Skills
