Employee Engagement & External Relationships Manager

A key part of the site leadership team, this role has accountability for the Hull campus ‘Brand’, external relationships, sponsorships and all on-site engagement activities. The incumbent will continue to shape the profile of our Hull site in delivering our global R&D objectives and maximising the value of the site – internally, externally, locally and globally, building links across R&D and supply.

In this role you’ll…
  • Enhance interactions as an R&D Community both locally and globally, ensuring sharing of best practice.
  • Have oversight of all Hull external engagement, partnership and charity opportunities so as to maximize impact to Reckitt regarding attraction, retention, culture and reputation.
  • Work closely with corporate communications and government affairs, acting as site communication ambassador in terms of devising a strategy for and nurturing local relationships as required (local council, Marketing Humber, LEP etc).

You’ll succeed because…

You have good understanding of internal and external communications, change management, business to business relationship management, corporate sponsorship and reputation management / PR.

This is a hands on fast paced role so you’ll need strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. Your strong communication and influencing skills will enable you to build strong working relationships both internally and externally and collaborate effectively. You will also need good knowledge of the local area, key businesses and influencers and a strong network mindset.

A key project you will drive going forward, will be maximising our ‘new normal’ of post covid working to optimise our on-site assets and facilities as well as driving the Coach, Create, Connect and Collaborate on site working culture.
