Are you looking to join an energetic and vibrant organisation that truly makes a difference to peoples lives, then we would love to hear from you!As an Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response Manager you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective EPRR service supporting managers and staff across the ICB and wider ICS to ensure a robust and resilient NHS response to any incident or disruptive event.
  • Contribute to the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the Emergency Planning, Business Continuity preparedness programmes across the Trust.
  • Develop and co-ordinate the production, maintenance and review of the Incident Response Plan and Business Continuity Plans across the Trust to ensure that the Trust meets its statutory requirements as a category one responder under the CCA
  • Provide specialist advice in relation to Emergency Planning and Business Continuity.
  • To support the writing, updating and implementation of polices and response plans through exercises and training programmes for dissemination throughout the Trust and external partner agencies.
  • Prepare, implement and deliver appropriate training for staff groups at all levels on a Trust wide basis and with external partners for Major Incident, Business Continuity and CBRN response.
  • Support departments and services to develop and maintain their own business continuity plans to National standards.
  • Assist in ensuring the Major Incident control rooms on all sites are equipped and maintained ready for immediate activation when required.
  • Effectively participate and represent HHFT in the multi-agency Local Resilience Forum (LRF) groups as well as attending any relevant external meetings.
  • Support processes and training programme for the Trust’s CBRN response to ensure the CBRN elements of the plan are effective, fit for purpose and regularly tested both for incident response and external scrutiny
