Job OverviewThe Community Urgent Care Service are looking to recruit an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Practitioner to be mainly based in Minehead to join one of the largest employers in the South West.You will be a qualified ENP/EP with non-medical prescribing working with a team of ENPS who deliver high-quality care within our busy Minor Injury’s Unit.Working with us you will be part of our Dynamic team with a broad scope of advanced practice including injury and illness. We welcome applicants with a specialist interest in Emergency Care.We have a supportive senior nursing and leadership team who actively encourage innovation and education in order to achieve the highest standards of care and have a comprehensive CPD programme.If you have now decided this role is for you and you want to take on this challenge within Community Urgent Care Service , we can offer you structured support to expand your scope of practice within our dedicated team as well as our generous trust benefits (including FREE Parking, FULL paid DBS check, Corporate Induction and many more!)If you require further information or would like to a tour of one of the units please call us to arrange a date and time.Main duties of the jobThe Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) or Emergency Practitioner (EP) will support the Service Manager, Nurse Consultant and Clinical and Managerial Lead, a team of both registered and unregistered staff to undertake the care and management of patients within the Minor Injury Units on a shift by shift basis.The ENP/EP will offer support, guidance and professional support to the nursing team in the MIU.The post holder will be involved in auditing the standards of care being provided by all clinical staff. Continuing professional development will be an integral part of the role.
