My client is consultancy company . Been on the market for over the last 40 years, experts have served as the trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies and the world’s leading law and private equity firms when they are facing their greatest opportunities and challenges

They are looking to hire an EMEA Billing Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis. (12 month Maternity Cover)

My client is based in London, close to Bank station but they are offering a hybrid work pattern.

Job Description

EMEA Billing Manager: Manage the EMEA wide billing and invoicing process function in a hands-on capacity
  • Lead a team of billing professionals to deliver timely and accurate client invoices in line
with client facing team demands
  • Instill and deliver a first-class customer service mindset in the EMEA Billing team
  • Oversee more complex internal queries relating to invoicing processes
  • Provide project management for billing/invoicing related initiatives including delivery of invoices through client e-billing platforms
  • Recommend and lead process improvements initiatives within functional area by identifying
critical path and removing blockages
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required
  • Document internal controls and procedures
  • Enforce and comply with the documented internal controls surrounding assigned billing/invoicing processes
  • Establish goals and administer performance reviews with direct reports
  • Assist in the creation, gathering and reporting of key performance indicators and review metric information to improve efficiency
  • Serve as a primary billing/invoicing contact for both internal and external auditors
  • Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve Billing process issues

  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight month-end deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly professional individual who demonstrates pride in their work

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels of the organisation

Basic Qualifications and Experience (or equivalent)
  • Professional services background with a strong knowledge of WIP
  • Vastly experienced Billing professional gained over several years
  • Several years’ experience in a Billing Management or Supervisory position
  • Extensive experience of ERP billing processes and solutions
  • Proven ability in managing an internationally focused billing organisation
  • Strong working knowledge of VAT in a European environment
  • Experience of working with high volumes, multi currencies in a multi-location company
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications and Experience (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of Unit 4 ERP is an advantage but not essential

What’s on Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £350 to £400 per day or 60-80k per annum depending on experience.
