A leading Engineering Company based on the Hampshire Dorset border in Ringwood are looking to hire an Embedded Software or Firmware Design Engineer.

This role contributes to a varying number of software development projects over the full software life cycle. This includes creating detailed designs, developing firmware components, and undertaking integration activities.

This is a heavily R&D focused position, designing special purpose machinery and equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate will have a strong C++ coding background within an embedded environment, developing code at Microcontroller/Microprocessor level.

Additional experience preferable in Real Time Software Development, Protocols (UART/RS485, USB, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP) and Object-Oriented Design.
