We are currently looking to recruit a ’time served’ Electrician.

D & B Electrical are a well-established company that has been trading since 2009. We pride ourselves on the investment we make in our employees to promote the progression of a career, whether that be through the extensive training we offer or through responsibility in the company.

We are both a reactive and planned works electrical contracting company who provide services in various areas of Commercial, Industrial And Domestic works. Our main focus is within the retail, commercial and industrial sectors.

D & B Electrical also specialise in UPS and Generator installation and whilst knowledge in these areas would be beneficial, this isn’t a requirement of the right candidate as full training will be provided.

We serve customers locally in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire but also travel further afield for various works. All travel/expenses are catered for accordingly and in addition to a wage.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

• Electrical Testing

• Electrical Installation

• Problem solving and fault finding

• The ability to work by yourself or as part of a team

• A high level of attention to detail

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience required

• Some commercial experience is preferred

Qualifications and Certifications

• Valid ECS card essential

• 18th edition desirable

• 2391 desirable

• 2330 Level 3 OR equivalent essential

Misc

• A full and clean UK driving Licence is essential

• Must provide own hand tools. All other tools will be provided by D & B.

• Polite, presentable, punctual and reliable.

• The ability to work by yourself or as part of a team

• Armed with a “can do” attitude

37.5 hours per week (over time paid at a higher rate)
