Working Hours

This role is based on our Night Shift pattern: Sunday - Thursday - 41 Hours per week
Sunday - 22:00 - 06:05
Monday - Thursday - 21:50 - 06:05

Our Mix That Awaits You

Installation/ Maintenance of machinery/equipment in accordance with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, IEE 18 th Edition Electrical Regulations, The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 plus any other specific standard deemed appropriate to task being undertaken. To follow set procedures for permit to work, job recording, fire alarm muting, Health & Safety and Hygiene set systems of work. Programming / diagnostic monitoring of PLC controlled systems. To maintain all machinery to the standard expected within a food environment. The continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery. Preventative maintenance & Breakdown maintenance The construction and installation of electrical control panels and systems. Fault diagnostics and repair of existing systems/equipment. Maintaining electrical services throughout the factory and offices. Understanding and complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Environmental Permit to the extent it affects your role.

Previous installation and commissioning work experience - essential Extensive PLC experience - highly desirable Breakdown and fault-finding experience - desirable Fully completed apprenticeship - essential Multi skilled - desirable Previous Food Manufacturing experience - preferred Qualified in IEE 18 th Edition Electrical Regulations
