Electrical Shift ManagerWe are working with a leading National Building Services and FM Organisation who are looking to bring on Electrical Lead Shift Managers to cover their Data Centre contract within the Farnborough region.This is a Continental Shift Pattern with a combination of days and nights 12-hour shifts.- Carry out routine/essential Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks as required across HV and LV distribution systems (including generators), in a safe, efficient, and effective manner at several key buildings in the Slough region.
  • Undertake fault finding, investigation and reactive repairs to a variety of different types of installations, such as: DX Splits, UPS units, Static switches, LV/HV generators, Trend BMS System.
  • Involved in extra works and project works
  • Supervise / Coordinate onsite teams
  • To work to set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained
  • Ensuring reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems on site
  • Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems
  • Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site
  • Carry out minor installation work.
    • Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience- Experience in a similar environment ideally Data Centre/ Critical environment.
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 / NVQ Level 2
  • 18th Edition / 17th Edition
  • City & Guilds 2391/5 Test & Inspect
  • Experience in Electrical & Mechanical aspects of general building PPM schedules
  • Prior experience with permits to work.
  • PASMA/IPAF certified.
  • HVAP / LVAP (Desired) - Training Available
  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices
