Mechanical Engineer - £35k We are working with a regional and reputable Building Services and FM Organisation who are looking to bring on a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover their Commercial contract on this Static MOD site in the Salisbury region. Key responsibilities of the role: Ensure that reactive maintenance, callouts & breakdowns are carried out on all mechanical building plant & equipment covering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, water systems, AHU’s, FCU’s, replacing pumps on mechanical systems. Respond to Building Management System alerts, and effect emergency repairs as needed. Ensure that Cooling Systems and domestic water systems are maintained with the requirements on the L8 standard. Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept. Carry out Mechanical Maintenance & PPM Schedules Qualifications & experience:-Qualified to NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)
  • Good knowledge of general building services and Health & Safety
  • Good knowledge in the industry working on commercial, private sector or residential contracts
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, numerate & literate You will also need to be Security Cleared of which we are able to process for you. Working hours are 40 hours a week, Mon - Fri (Overtime & weekends available) In return you will receive a salary of £35k a great benefits package available
