Job Title Electrical Engineer Job Purpose To support the production teams by maintaining key plant equipment and solving machine breakdowns in a timely manner with a knowledge of 415v 3phase and 230v single phase circuits. The position is permanent shift 2. (2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 1pm to 7.30pm on a Friday). Relationships Reports to Maintenance Manager Responsible for General Maintenance of the plant and machinery Close Liaison with All departments Key Areas of Job-Repairs to key plant including laser cutters, press breaks and robots
  • Repairs to welding sets
  • Repairs to various crane types
  • General maintenance and TPM work to a variety of hand tools and weld torchers
  • 5’s work to the maintenance department
  • Able to work using own initiative at times Key Post Holder Requirements Essential: Undertaken a recognised Electrical bias/Engineering apprenticeship Minimum ONC qualification in an engineering discipline Robotics Mechanical Knowledge Desirable: Electric qualifications Boom lift licence
