Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Salary: £34,000.00 to £38,000.00 Plus £2000.00 shift allowance
Location: Scunthorpe Our client is a market leading factory built and bespoke kitchen manufacturer, that prides themselves on the best products at the best value. They are seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team at their specialist quartz division of their business.THE ROLE: The primary role of the Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer is to maintain the machinery based on preventative and predictive maintenance concepts, to assist our technical team with project work and any continuous improvement related tasks.Main Responsibilities: Troubleshoot technical issues. Support the Operational teams / colleagues in resolving the technical issues on the machine. Work towards a zero-breakdown and zero-stop mentality, reducing the maintenance costs including reducing working capital for spare parts. Take ownership for working area; monitor key maintenance KPI’s such as breakdowns and have a strong service-department mind set towards the operations. Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process). Project work (Design through to Installation). PLC fault finding. The role is a working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern working a rotating shift pattern, 1 week Mornings working hours of 6.00am to 2.30pm and afters working 2.00pm to 10.30pm. Overtime is expected when required over weekends. The company is undergoing expansion in all areas and there are great opportunities to progress within.THE CANDIDATE: You must be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer 18th Edition with valid IEE regulations over 1 year. Time served Electrician with NVQ level 3. Experience in a similar electrical function and industrial environment. Understanding of PLC systems.
