Company Accountant Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Location: Hessle, East Yorkshire OVERVIEW: Are you a qualified accountant who would like to work for a highly successful privately owned small group of companies? This is a wonderful opportunity to join this thriving company using your skills and experience to take over the day to day running of the finance function. THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Managing Director, the role will require broad based accounting experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and preferably previous experience of Sage systems. The role will involve taking control for the day to day running of the finance function and will include the preparation of weekly management accounts and financial reports, liaison with the banks and auditors, cashflows/forecasts. An understanding of tax is required although the tax and payroll is outsourced. THE CANDIDATE: An eloquent communicator at all levels you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with industry experience or straight from professional practice and looking to make the first move into industry. Accuracy, an eye for detail and sound analytical skills are key to success in this role as is the ability to provide timely financial reports to assist in the decision making process. Adaptable, capable and deadline driven, you enjoy working with genuinely nice people who have high standards of integrity and ethics. THE COMPANY: The offices are based in beautiful surroundings close to the Humber Bridge and so an easy commute from the west Hull villages and surrounding areas, Beverley, central Hull and North Lincolnshire.
