Job Description-
The energy landscape as we know it is rapidly transforming. Join us as an Electrical Circuits Engineer and you’ll have the opportunity to accelerate your career, too. You’ll be part of our industry-leading team Transmissions and Distributions teams, acting as partners to our clients, building a deep understanding of their challenges and applying your expertise to solve them.

Reporting to the Circuits Team leader, you will carry out overhead line and cable studies associated with new generation existing power systems and innovation projects. As an Electrical Circuits engineer you will complete overhead line routing and cable routing analysis, via the use of PLS software and Cymcap. Upon completion of the analysis, you will assist in consulting our clients by providing reports that detail the results from our studies.

In addition, you will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, timeframe, and quality targets, promoting all facets of Arcadis services during interfaces with. Contributing towards the achievement of the divisional business plan your role will be key to maintain and exceed our client’s expectations and to build networks within the industry.

Requirements-

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in overhead lines analysis and cable analysis and knowledge of High Voltage systems
  • Ability of working with internal and external parties and working within a strong team-working culture.
  • Experience in writing clear and concise documentation.
  • Flexibility to travel both in the UK and overseas.
