Job ProfileElectrical Contracts Manager required for our client; electrical compliance and safety specialists who are fast growing based in the South East responsible for keeping commercial, industrial and government buildings compliant. They require an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their operations department based in Kent.Ideally, candidates will have experience in management of electrical projects and electricians. Candidates will be fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1&2 or 2330 Level 2&3, 2382-18 - 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & Testing qualifications.The successful candidate will act as an internal and client facing works co-ordinator, working alongside the existing the Contracts Managers and scheduling team, managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering workforce.Electrical Contracts Manager Position OverviewThe Contracts Manager will be primarily based in the office, with site visits required for client meetings, technical site surveys, estimation activities and engineer audits.Office duties will consist of organising the engineering workforce, allocating labour to contracted works, negotiating supplier rates, creating schedules of works for larger projects, dealing with client requests, technical queries and quoting installation works.Where required, mobile duties will consist of providing support on site, taking responsibility for efficiency and quality, ensuring we offer the best quality service to our clients. The role also comprises health and safety responsibilities and on-site audits.Electrical Contracts Manager Position Requirements- Be qualified to the 18th Edition with at least C&G 2382 and 2391 (or equivalent).
- Be suitably experienced around Inspection & Testing requirements, Electrical Installation Condition Reports and other NICEIC accredited certification.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- £40,000.00 - £45,000 per annum.
- A company vehicle, including fuel card.
- Laptop, mobile, iPad.
