Job Description

As the EHS Compliance manager you will be reporting into the EHSQ Manager and you will manage a team of 3 Coordinators within the EHSQ department at their Warrington site.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Arrange goals that are aligned with the department & site targets. whilst developing your team to implement and sustain best EHS practices.

  • Initiate, encourage and maintain EHS procedures (incidents, injuries, risks, etc.)

  • Support the HSEQS Manager with the development & implementation of the Major
Accident Hazard Safety Report..

  • You will have full responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan.

  • You will be responsible for the effective implementation of the ISO 14001 & 45001 management
systems.

  • As the EHS Compliance Manager you will complete regular site inspections identifying and actioning areas for improvement

  • You will assist your team with the control of documentations, whilst carrying out routine reviews of these documents

  • Lead or assist with audits of the EHSQ systems

  • You will support the ESHQ manager in developing and driving continuous improvement and training throughout your team and the workforce

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have experience of working within a Top Tier COMAH environment

  • A relevant qualification ideally NEBOSH or CMIOSH

  • A Progressive candidate looking for the next step their career

  • Leadership experience within a COMAH setting

  • Competent in computer programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with EHS based computer systems such as Dakota, Rapid Global would be advantageous
