Could you be a Sense College Education Support Worker?

It’s an exciting time as Sense has just released its new strategy, we now have an opportunity for a Education Support Worker to join our College in Selly Oak Birmingham.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. With the role being in a college; you would work for 39 weeks per year and therefore the salary is pro-rata.

This role is working in aSense Specialist College, supporting and preparing young people for the journey into adulthood. The successful candidate should have experience of working in an education setting.

Your required skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language or similar is beneficial (BSL / Makaton etc) but is not essential.
  • Due to the nature of the role candidates are required to have English and Maths GCSEs Grades A - C or equivalent
  • The successful candidate should have experience of working in an education setting
