  • Lead complexity definition for the EDS, ensuring optimised designs aligned to vehicle options
  • Work with supplier partners to optimise wiring harness complexity
  • Identify and communicate non-buildable configurations within Polestar and our supplier partners
  • Collaborate with the wider Polestar business with respect to definition of options, packs and vehicle configurations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues within the circuit and EDS design
  • Generate manual harness selection matrix for prototype builds using SDV documents or similar
  • Prepare and collate documentation for releasing EDS commodities within Polestar using Polestar tools and processes
  • Work with Polestar Engineers and EDS suppliers to ensure all documentation is completed to support EDS commodity and component releasing
  • Populate Polestar releasing tool (Active Workspace) ensuring releases are ready for final review and sign-off, in line with program timing requirements
  • Work with Polestar Engineering and Program Management teams to develop the releasing process Development of Complexity validation tools and processes, ensuring the right level of validation prior to release
  • Development of Complexity DRCs and integration into Circuit Design Toolset in conjunction with Systems Engineers
  • Definition of Complexity & Releasing work-flow
  • Support Project Engineer by maintaining project Control Models to track commodity cost & weight status against targets
Who You AreYou’ll have relevant automotive experience, with a level of exposure to circuit design, complexity, electrical system design and development. Your experience will include a demonstrable track record of electrical design projects and a thorough understanding of part numbering, creation and releasing within an automotive OEM or Tier 1.If you believe you have what it takes to work at the heart of automotive innovation, then we look forward to reviewing your application.
