Responsible to : Senior Merchandiser
Department:HIP Multichannel
Location:Bury
Hours: 40 hours per week
Role Overview :
The purpose of this job is to analyse trends, get product online and maintaining stock levels.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Overseeing hard launches effectively by getting products prepared in time, analysing STR% performance, managing new technology that is brought in to improve the site and general launch maintenance.
- Monitoring reserved stock daily by SKU level and full weekly reviews to manage stock holding.
- Reviewing low cover lines in the warehouse to see if they are needed to be transferred from slow/none selling stores to maintain sell through rate for company. As well as monitoring transfer processing rates - liaising with the warehouse and the retail team to improve this.
- Co-ordinating and ensuring that new product is online as quickly and efficiently as possible. Using product trackers and intake calendars. And monitoring key replenishment - suggest lines to be marketed where worthwhile.
- Analysing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports to highlight good and poor performance. As well as comparing online to stores performance to close the gap within the business.
- Annotating key information future reference such as key product, issues and events.
- Working closely with core merchandising and buyers to sign off all products for marketing, to get the best out of the stock and ranges that are getting back as a business.
- As well as with the wider digital marketing teams (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, ECRM) to ensure that all product related activity from keywords, ranking and links are appropriate.
- Development of the team.
- Merchandising the site using Fredhopper algorithms and manual & blocking modifications for key product.
- Attributing the site to improve the customer journey and marketing pushes.
- Improving the journey for the customers by reviewing search words and drop offs.
- Dropdown navigation reviewed regularly to ensure it keeps in line with seasons and stock.
- Site walks throughout the day to raise any potential issues – broken links, incorrect product descriptions, placement, imagery and general housekeeping.
- Homepage checks after any content changes over all platforms to ensure everything is correct.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
- Ecommerce or merchandising experience.
- Excel experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to accurately enter data.
- Strong communication.
- Work well in a team.
