Job Introduction

DAC Beachcroft is looking to appoint a highly organised Early Talent Recruitment Project Assistant to coordinate activity associated with the upcoming DACB Early Talent recruitment campaign for trainee solicitors and apprentices.

You will work closely with the Early Talent Lead and third party providers to advertise roles, act as a first point of contact for interested candidates, and plan and deliver shortlisting and selection activity - including virtual and face-to-face interviews and assessment days.

This is a fixed-term contract for 3 months from May 2022.

Main Responsibilities
  • Working with the Early Talent team and third party providers to define role specifications and advertise positions for both legal and non-legal entry level roles
  • Screening candidate applications ensuring minimum criteria has been met
  • Coordinating online video interviews using our ATS (TribePad/Talent on View) – inviting candidates to complete interviews and coordinating all associated interview review activity
  • Tracking applicant status ensuring prompt and clear communication to candidates and stakeholders regarding progress throughout the campaign
  • Communicating with the wider business to plan and schedule assessment days
  • Working with the Early Talent team to design assessment activities
  • Briefing assessors on their role throughout the selection process
  • Supporting assessment activity including welcoming candidates on the day and managing all assessment day administration / coordination
  • Delivering candidate feedback
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience coordinating or managing HR projects including large scale recruitment campaigns / or relevant transferrable experience is essential
  • A high level of computer literacy including use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organisational skills and high levels of attention to detail
  • Great communication skills, the ability to influence and engage colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enjoys working with a consultative and collaborative style and when sharing new ideas or new ways of working, they will make suggestions and take their colleagues with them on the journey
  • Passionate about the importance of nurturing an continuous improvement culture and a role model of the behaviours that foster high levels of engagement
  • The ability to work with and understand bespoke systems quickly
