Bury St Edmunds Ambulance station

Immediate start- temporary with long term opportunities.

£10.19 ph increasing after 12 weeks

Saturday and nights £13.40

Sun and Bank holiday £17.39

This is an excellent opportunity to join the East of England Ambulance service NHS trust to assist them with the vital work they do every day!

As your role will involve moving ambulances and vehicles holding a UK driving licence with a C1 category is mandatory.

  • Shifts 5 days per week 37.5 hours on rota
  • Deliver and collect ambulances between sites
  • Ensure vehicles have correct levels of stock
  • vehicle checks and road tests
  • refuel
  • clean and make ready for use

There is a requirement to work shifts that include nights and weekends and be flexible in line with service needs. Good communication skills and a basic understanding of IT is essential along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail, working to a high standard, be able to follow step by step instructions and be able to work as part of a team.
