Diversity & Inclusion Manager
Locations: Hybrid - Occasional Travel to head office in Wimbledon
Salary: Up to £45,000
Type: 12-month FTC
Latham & Bond HR is working with an innovative and future-orientated professional association that is looking to appoint an interim Diversity & Inclusion Manager. This role is in place to support the delivery of the I&D action plan and champion its achievement and progress. To work closely with the CEO, Head of I&D and Leadership team to develop and implement a robust I&D strategy to support the organisation in achieving its overall strategic goals and objectives. To cultivate and drive an inclusive work environment for all of our people.
Responsibilities:
- Support with the rollout of the I&D strategy; reinforcing areas of accountability for the business and maintaining stakeholder engagement.
- Be the point of contact for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and support them in implementing I&D initiatives and ensure all groups have a voice in the organisation.
- Facilitate regular ERG meetings and update the business on their needs, acting as a conduit between the Leadership team and the ERGs.
- Provide analysis and assessment of the diversity of internal people practices, offering expert advice and strategy for improvements.
- Work in collaboration with the Internal Comms team to communicate I&D initiatives and programmes of work to the business, responding to feedback and queries as needed.
- Deliver a solution-focused approach and create positive action interventions to support under-represented groups.
- Conduct diversity assessments and innovate processes impacted by I&D and implement stronger working solutions in line with the I&D action plan and strategy.
- Create diversity analytics to understand and measure performance in the organisation, including legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with a range of teams and stakeholders to support I&D needs internally and externally.
- Coach and upskill managers and colleagues on the value of diversity and inclusive practice.
- Deliver change to the organisation and impact I&D initiatives for the better through its people.
- Celebrate diversity through organised events, workshops and awareness sessions.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Several years experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, ideally in an organisation with complex matrix working and international/global exposure.
- Experience in a similar role; has worked closely with ERGs and/or has a background in learning and development or talent management.
- Strong analytical skill; and must have experience in diversity analytics and understanding diversity data.
- Advanced Excell skills; comfortable in manipulating data sets in vlookups and pivot tables.
- Has experience working closely with HRBPs to help drive I&D initiatives.
- Experience in building or scaling global ERGs.
- A self-starter that is nimble and knows how to navigate a hyper-growth and fast-paced environment without much supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders.
- Developed project management skills with a proven track record of delivering c change projects.
- Experience in writing I&D-related content for internal and external audiences.
- Experience in attending panels, chairing meetings and facilitating round table discussions.
- Someone who is savvy, innovative, empathetic, curious and courageous.
