Job Overviewto work as part of a central admin teamTo provide an administrative service to the wards and departments in the Integrated and Urgent Care Directorate (Medicine).Main duties of the jobThe Directorate Administrators provide administrative support to the wards in the Integrated and Urgent Care Directorate (Medicine).You will be working on our rostering system to book staff for training; add and adjust annual leave entitlement and carry out weekly checks of bank and agency shifts worked, book staff for mandatory training, deal with paperwork for payroll and respond to queries. You will prepare induction paperwork for all new starters and you will support the ward sisters with the monitoring of sickness absence. Full training will be given.These are busy roles, and we are looking for people who have proven organisational skills and who can manage and prioritise a busy workload, with an eye for accuracy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
