Director of Marketing

Salary – £60,000 per annum plus car allowance and competitive incentive plan

Location – Home based covering North & Midlands

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Marketing to join our Senior Leadership Team at Orchard Care Homes.

The role:
As the Director of Marketing , you will formulate and deliver a forward thinking, sector leading and commercially focused marketing strategy. Driving the Orchard brand, generating enquiries and ultimately supporting our Operational care home teams to grow occupancy in line with our budget. You will utilise a number of effective marketing and customer service approaches, evaluating success and optimising return on investment. Adopting a coaching approach evaluating and upskilling our Home Management Teams on new and innovative marketing and customer service approaches, understanding our current customer experience with a view to adding value and enhancing engagement via all relevant channels. You will understand market trends, analyse organisational performance and metrics and make marketing recommendations to increase referral and occupancy performance. You will lead and inspire the marketing team to deliver a first-class service.

About you:
The successful candidate will have proven achievement in a senior Marketing role within the health and social care sector. You will have the ability to deliver marketing strategies on budget and have an in depth understanding of marketing best practice in the sector. Experience of writing tenders and reviewing local authority contracts is also required.

You will have good interpersonal, influencing and management skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate people. You will be exceptional at networking and building relationships and have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. You will be well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.

The role requires the post holder to be flexible and to travel regularly across the regions.
