Director of Finance & Operations

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £49,000 - £57,000


Key to our successful performance is the provision of high quality Financial and Operational services. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and successful Manager with a proven track record of delivery in the areas of Finance and Operations. This is a senior post within our organisation with responsibility for delivering the Hospice’s on-going sound financial and operational strategy.


Applicants will be familiar with the environment in which the Hospice delivers its services and with the governance and the regulatory frameworks in which we operate. You will also demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of financial management and financial accounting processes and will have experience of developing and deploying data and information services to support the business, in addition to significant of estates and facilities management.

Applicants will demonstrate key leadership skills as a team player who can contribute to the Hospice’s Vision through robust service delivery. The successful appointee will report to the Chief Executive Officer and be a member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the Board as we manage and shape our future. Based in the Hospice’s main office in Greenock, you will be part of a successful and highly motivated team operating in a dynamic environment which will afford you the opportunity and scope to achieve your personal and business development potential. The successful appointee will be fully ICA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and will be a member of a relevant professional body.
