Job Title: Digital Training Product Manager
Job Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, Hybrid home and office working
Salary £32,170 to £35,000 per annum based on 35 hours per week:
Contract Type: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has been arisen for an experienced, commercially minded Digital Training professional who will be responsible for the production and quality of any new content on the Red Cross Training website.
In this role, you will be accountable for the planning, development and success of new digital training products, such as online learning and VR training, working to ensure that content produced meets the British Red Cross standards.
A day in the life of a Digital Training Product Manager will involve:
  • Manage the development of all digital training products.
  • Take ownership of the planning, writing and development of scalable digital training content, ensuring that it’s engaging, innovative and competitive.
  • Work closely with the Digital Manager and Product Manager to develop the new digital training courses and ensure that digital training content is aligned with face-to-face training.
  • Integrate best practice education techniques in all content, therefore, ensuring that users obtain and retain knowledge effectively.
  • Gather user feedback, monitor, evaluate and report on training program performance and learning success.
  • Manage the delivery of all content planning and creation - writing, editing and proof-reading.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Digital and Marketing teams to implement the digital marketing and marketing content strategy for Red Cross Training
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement and success levels.
  • Analysis and optimise digital training content performance, such as deliver increase in engagement/completion rates.
  • Proactively research and propose new ideas for new digital training products, content, and tools with increasing complexity.
To be a successful Digital Training Product Manager, you’ll need:
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision and will plan and manage their own work.
  • Be technology literate with understanding of tactics of digital content engagement.
  • Have creativity and ability to develop original content that provokes engagement.
  • Be adept at keyword placement and Search Engine Optimisation best practices.
  • Have a track record of developing digital training and educational content via Moodle.
  • Have experience in writing, optimizing, and managing the development of digital content marketing campaigns.
