About this role

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Product Manager with a focus on digital advertising innovation, to join our growing Data & AI Solutions team.

We are looking for someone driven and entrepreneurial, who has a passion for developing and managing customer-centric, insight-led advertising solutions underpinned by data and AI. You will be brilliant at managing projects and building relationships, motivated, tenacious, ambitious and full of ideas. You will be a team player, who is comfortable using their initiative in a fast-paced and ever changing environment and has the leadership qualities to inspire those around them.

This high-profile role is critical for the growth of our Data & AI Solutions business. You will play a leading role in the planning, development, delivery and in-life management of high-profile, innovative digital solutions that meet emerging customer needs, deliver against strategic commercial objectives and build BT’s Data & AI Solutions market offering.

You’ll have the following responsibilities

Product Management

  • Responsibility for the in-life management of unique digital advertising solutions, maintaining stability while retaining pace and quality of ongoing development
  • Building new user stories and managing product backlogs
  • Leading UAT of new features released, working with QA team, raising bugs identified, working with the engineering and product teams in identifying the issue, and tracking and ensuring a fix is in place
  • Working with the Insights Manager, planning, running and analysing the results of customer testing
  • Managing product performance and reporting against commercial, customer and market KPI’s
  • Develop and manage engaging, innovative product content across the customer journey including; customer facing videos, webinars, FAQs, notifications and help guides

Product Design

  • Identifying areas of improvement based on customer feedback and usage (e.g. gathering and analysing insights from heat map tracking), designing and implementing changes to UX / content
  • UX development, working with internal teams and agencies to test and optimise the UX of digital products and features, feeding into the development roadmap and its prioritisation

Product Planning and Strategy

  • Manage the customer-centric roadmap of new product features, including defining insight-led requirements, features, capabilities and specifications
  • Identifying, scoping and selecting 3rd party partners to help us deliver the roadmap
  • Carrying out competitive analysis and customer research, feeding into development and delivery
  • Develop new features and customer facing propositions that address evolving customer and market needs
  • Working with the Commercial and Pricing Manager on developing business cases for incremental opportunities

You’ll have the following skills & experience

  • Experience managing digital advertising products e.g. social, display, search or digital out of home
  • Strong digital and data driven product development
  • Strong digital UX experience
  • Experience defining, developing, analysing and optimising customer-facing digital products / features underpinned by data and AI
  • Experience leading product development / integration with 3rd party tools
  • Strong understanding and experience of agile product development
  • Presentation skills
  • Relationship building and communication
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a cross-functional team - able to unite a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders around common goals.
