An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced band 6 Midwife to join the maternity team at UHNM as a Digital Midwife. We are looking for a dynamic midwife who can demonstrate an understanding of how digital technology can support safer care. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and motivated midwife to join our innovative but supportive team to excel in delivering our Trust values and objectives.

The purpose of the band 6 Digital Midwife is to support the lead Digital Midwife on supporting the use of digital technology and to play a key role in the continuing development of the maternity information system (K2 at UHNM) in line with Better Births, Ockendon, Saving Babies lives and the national maternity transformation agenda.

The digital midwife will lead on all activities regarding the electronic patient record systems within maternity, to include on-going system development, implementation and training and have a key role in the accuracy of data within the service. The digital midwife will be responsible for working with the multi professional team to improve the accuracy and completeness of data quality and work to ensure that national data quality standards are met. You will work with members of the multidisciplinary team within the hospital and community venues, including midwifery staff, medical personnel, coding contracts, information, and IM&T.
