Digital Marketing Apprentice

You will be expected to be energetic, creative, and artistic in your approach with new ideas and concepts within the marketing team. You will be able to engage with the small internal team your ideas in a positive and professional manner. You will be expected to help the team strategize plans to continue the growth of the Suzi Wong brand.

• Working with the team to assist in creation of lively, engaging materials to support your planned marketing campaigns
• Building and maintaining our web presence through content creation for our website and social media accounts through planned strategy and implementation
• Creating and publishing slick and on-brand design assets using Adobe Creative Suite and other online tools
• Managing the production of marketing materials across different mediums, such as blog posts, physical marketing, flyers, and newsletters on upcoming events etc.
• Understanding the sector that we operate in and be keen to keep up to date with news/activities

Due to the requirements of the business this apprenticeship is less than 30 hours; therefore the duration has been extended accordingly.

• Be flexible, creative, and confident and take a common-sense approach to getting things done
• Have a desire to continue learning whilst working
• Can manage social media accounts with large followings, Suzi Wong Instagram page over 24K to date
• Good organisational and time management skills

• Passion for sport - even better if passionate about combat-sport
• Strong business acumen to understand client use cases
• Keeps up to date with latest technology
• High standard of written and verbal communication
• Must be able to handle themselves professionally when around professional and elite fighters in the studio, always respecting the company ethos

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
• A Level 2 Qualification in an IT related field or relevant industry experience

The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.

• The salary will be reviewed and is a starting salary.

You will be working towards the following qualification / standard:

Digital Marketer - Level 3.

This includes:

• Main learning objectives: Digital etiquette, basic marketing principles, written communication, build and implement digital campaigns, research, development, delivery and analysis of campaigns
• CIW Internet Business Associate Qualification
• EPA (End Point Assessment) - Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a portfolio containing evidence of real work projects, a project, an employer reference and a structured interview. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO

This Apprenticeship is completed within the workplace. You will be assessed through written work, verbal discussion and observation throughout your training. You will be given time by your employer to complete portfolio work, attend training, workplace shadowing and any other opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.
