Job Introduction

This is a really exciting opportunity to join Skipton Building Society on a 6 month fixed term basis as a Digital Learning Designer.
Working across the business as part of the Personal Development team you will be responsible for applying development principles to produce effective and engaging digital learning solutions. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will advise on the design of online learning content within the business as well as going on to design, develop and build the relevant content.

Main Responsibilities

Design and develop digital learning and knowledge management solutions, including e-learning, webinars, remote learning ensuring that the delivery/content of learning is accessible to all colleagues.
Produce content and/or draft content produced by stakeholders and be responsible for the development of the content into effective solutions.
Work with stakeholders to ensure that the assessment of competence for each e-learning intervention is effective.
Co-create with our Learning Design and Delivery Specialists to build an effective blended learning approach to our learning solutions
Ensure accuracy and quality in all solutions published
Work with key stakeholders around the re-assessment of competence as agreed under the T&C Scheme, ensuring it is reflected in the e-learning modules, content & assessment process.

Ideal Candidate

You will already have a strong background as a learning designer in the digital world and relish the opportunity to identify and clarify requirements, shape creative and engaging learning experiences by utilising different learning approaches. You’ll work with stakeholders from across the business at every stage of the development process, so having exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships is a must. As well as this, you will take the lead on engaging people towards directed learning, enhancing our overall learning culture.

Previous experience in digital learning design
Ability to produce storyboards.
Significant expertise in working with Articulate 360 suite and Adobe products.
Experience of providing MI to assess effectiveness of e-learning, take up rates & impact on capability & competence.
