Job OverviewThe post holder and will play a major role in the Somerset Peri-Operative Project. The core function of this role will be to enable the delivery and implementation of a digital Pre-operative assessment solution within the scope of the Somerset Peri-Operative project and to support change as a result. The post holder must have extensive knowledge and experience of pre-operative assessment and will be a role model and expert practitioner for all clinical and non-clinical staff who will be using the digital solution.Main duties of the jobThis post will initially be for a 12 month secondment/fixed term position with the role of working closely with the designated digital lead for the project in procuring and implementing the best digital solution for the service. They will also lead complex clinical service change within all departments across the organisation which undertake pre-operative assessments for general anaesthetic proceduresThe post holder will ensure communication is maintained between stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation and will ensure that organisational procedures are adhered to and that objectives are identified and met, as well as facilitating the identification and realisation of benefits.
