As Digital Guided Selling & Solutions Merchandiser you’ll support implementation of the Guided Selling & Solutions strategy and vision for Halfords digital across halfords.com and halfords.ie products and services with a focus on Cycling.

Key measures of success will be driving conversion, find & add success, improving Average Order Value and Items Per Basket through Optimised customer journeys.

The jobholder will work closely with all functions within the Digital & Customer, Store Opps, Marketing and Trading teams to ensure that the tools and functionality opportunity is maximised.

Fixed term contract for up to 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

In alignment with Digital Merchandising and Digital CRO support the FY Guided Selling & Solutions strategy
Work with critical paths and milestones for all work and associated Dev
Work closely with the Data analysis and Category teams to
Analyse overall performance and opportunities
Influence key stakeholders through compelling insights and effective presentation of results
Focus throughout is on the customer journey and user experience
Work collaboratively with the Digital Designers , Front End Developers and UI/UX to ensure the tools reflects what the customer expect
Implement changes to online products to support delivery of the plan
Analyse sales and web metrics to make recommendations about tools and identify future improvements
Work closely with Data Analytics and CRO teams to understand customer feedback and address issues and implement changes were appropriate
Work collaboratively with category trading teams to understand customer and market insight to maximize tools

Skills and Experience Required:

Solid level of knowledge and experience of e-commerce businesses
Strong understanding of the user behaviour and ecommerce landscape
Good analytical skills
Traditional merchandising or buying background
Passionate about digital products
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines, often while working independently
Strong attention to detail
