Responsibilities:
We’re working hard to improve the health and well-being of children and young people across Calderdale and we need you to play a crucial role in engaging our online communities - making sure our knowledge and programmes are shared across both a new digital platform and social media channels.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in digital communications or a similar role, with a passion for health and wellbeing, to support Healthy Futures Calderdale – a partnership of health teams from a number of local organisations – and Calderdale Public Health Early Years Service (PHEYS).

This exciting opportunity will support the delivery of a new digital platform for Healthy Futures Calderdale and subsequently play a critical role in creating and delivering high-quality content, working with health and wellbeing experts from across the partnership to share their expertise.

You’ll also support our Calderdale PHEYS Team to connect with parents and carers of children aged 0-5 through engaging social media and online content.

To help us learn from our activity, you will lead on the analysis of our digital activity, making recommendations to improve our digital communications.

This role with Healthy Futures Calderdale and Calderdale PHEYS is integral to our on-going development. You will need excellent team working skills as the post will be part of Locala’s Communications and Engagement Team and the successful candidate will be expected to liaise with all our Healthy Futures Calderdale partners and Calderdale PHEYS colleagues as well as other agencies and community groups supporting health and wellbeing across Calderdale.
