Dietetic Assistant – Band 2

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Dietetic Assistant to join the NHSP staff bank at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is ideal for dietetic students who are undertaking a Dietetic degree or Masters course, prior to gaining HCPC registration. Days: £9.49 days

Nights/Sat; £13.38

Sun/Bank Hol; £17.37

Skills/Responsibilities

To apply for this post, you will:

• Have achieved a relevant nutrition qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent or have equivalent experience or be undertaking a Dietetic degree or Masters course, prior to gaining HCPC registration
  • Have recent experience (i.e. within last 2 years) of working in a healthcare setting as either a Dietetic Assistant or a Dietetic student

• Support the Dietitians in providing an efficient and effective dietetic service – in the assessment and treatment of patients across a range of specialties and clinical settings
• Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with STH policy
• Undertake regular mandatory training
