Community Continence Care Support Worker – Band 3

The Role:

KeySkills/Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to):

  • Work within the Trusts clinical supervision guidelines.
  • Support the wider clinical team in the provision of services.
  • Undertake clinical tasks as listed in task summary sheet specific to the service.
  • Ensure actions contribute to a positive and safe working culture.
  • At all times act within the limits of their competences and authority.
  • Contribute to a judgement of an individual’s health condition under supervision of mentor.
  • Contribute to plan of care and review.
  • Provide a high quality of clinical care to patients within the agreed scope and competency and seek further advice and support from professionally registered staff where necessary.

In order to apply for a post, community and continence experience would be preferable, however, interest in continence and willingness to learn and support the team will be considered. Training will be provided.
