About The Role

Our client are now looking to appoint a Development Manager to work in conjunction with the Head of Programme Delivery and Head of Land and Planning to effectively project manage a range of development schemes from inception to completion, within approved parameters.

You will be required to manage and deliver a portfolio of development projects, including managing consultants, resources, activities, and information to ensure schemes are delivered on time and within budget. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and developers, promoting the work of the organisation, and develop new opportunities and leads to maintain the delivery of new affordable homes across the operational area. You will also lead, manage and motivate a small team to meet targets and deliver great homes for our customers.

About You

Our client are looking for an individual who is educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline and/or has significant proven project management experience delivering new build affordable homes. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will have experience of effectively leading, managing and motivating a team and/or the training and ability to apply people management policies and procedures.

IT literate and with a strong customer focus, you will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, delivering to deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.
