We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a rapidly expanding team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are completed without any mistakes through the effective supervision of a warehouse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

To be our new Warehouse Supervisor, you will ideally have FMCG food manufacturing experience at a supervisory / team leader level. You will have clear communication skills and have the ability to motivate a team to meet daily targets.

You will be supervising a team of 6+ Warehouse Operatives and overseeing the day to day running of your area in the factory. This is a very hands on role and you will be championing the quality of our products, the coaching and development of your team and ensuring that orders are picked on time.

Please note, that this role involves handling raw meat. You will experience smells in your place of work, the same as within a butcher’s shop, but our product is very fresh and any odour will be kept to a minimum

Responsibilities include:

• Championing our culture of health and safety
• Ensuring that all orders are produced in an efficient manner
• Monitoring, controlling and reporting on product quality
• Ensuring the correct packaging is used
• Communicating regularly and effectively with the Warehouse Manager, to ensure they are fully briefed on all line aspects
• Ensuring that all appropriate paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Assisting in the control and organisation of the labour allocated in your area
• Offering support, assistance and mentoring new team leaders
• Monitoring hygiene and housekeeping, including the cleanliness and security of all areas, ensuring site is always audit ready
• Undertaking any other reasonable and relevant duties as required by the Warehouse Manager

Preferred skills:

• FMCG and food manufacturing experience (minimum 3 years)
• Experience working in a fast paced, growing company
• Working inside tight deadlines
• People management experience
• Ability to prioritise and adapt
• Good IT skills
• Great communication and leadership skills
