Due to continued growth, Age UK have an exciting newDesktop Support Analyst opportunity in our Digital and Technology team.

Utilising their skills and experience in desktop support engineering and service delivery, the successful candidate will deliver a proactive desktop support service to Age UK staff.

The post holder will be working within a small, friendly team, resolving technical issues and recommending solutions to end user problems.

The team are focussed on supplying an excellent service to their end users. We are therefore looking for driven applicants with strong communication and technical ability, who understand the importance of high-quality customer service.

You will have:

  • Experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
  • Experienced in Service Delivery, preferably from a Service Desk in an ITIL environment.
  • Experience in Office 365 administration and support and Windows virtual desktop
  • Telephony experience (Preferably Teams and Twilio)
  • Windows 10 troubleshooting and support experience
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Active Directory/AAD experience
  • Use of ITSM tools to manage incidents/requests/changes.
  • Demonstrable understanding of ITIL
  • You will be comfortable engaging at a senior level and have strong communication skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering quality, robust and resilient service to a demanding customer community to challenging timescales and priorities
  • Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • The ability to work and be responsible for excellent desktop support services.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach along with the ability to multitask
  • The ability to assimilate information quickly and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Good team working skills
