Age UK are recruiting for a Senior Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead our Individual Marketing Loyalty team.

In this role you will drive the strategy to deliver a best-in-class loyalty portfolio that inspires supporters to continue to support the work of Age UK. You’ll do this by working across a variety of direct marketing channels and products to grow repeat giving and ensure our supporters feel valued and appreciated; supporter satisfaction is very important to us! Using audience insight we find the moments that are important for supporters and understand their motivations to best engage them with our cause.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience leading direct marketing fundraising teams and has proven experience using supporter focused strategies to grow supporter loyalty. In this role you will be able to develop your leadership skills, further develop the Loyalty strategy for Age UK and continue to foster an ambitious and collegiate individual marketing team.

Monday to Friday, hybrid working model; each Thursday to be office based (America Square, London) other days can be either home or office based.

You will have:

  • A demonstrable skillset in leading supporter loyalty teams at a senior level.
  • A solid foundation of experience within the Direct Marketing discipline across offline and online channels with single and multiple product journeys.
  • The ability to evidence experience of managing complex direct marketing budgets and campaigns.
  • Experience of delivering and developing a multi-year strategy
  • Solid experience in prioritisation and workload planning
  • Experience of using data and insight to drive performance optimisation and improvement. Numerate with good analysis skills with ability to analyse and interpret results and translating this analysis into action
  • Experience of using qualitative and quantitative supporter/customer insight to develop products, propositions and campaigns
  • Experience of supplier management
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
