COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:

Our Client is well established Architectural Engineering/Manufacturing Business and a leader in their field.

Due to continued success they are seeking to recruit two experienced Architectural Designers, one for Facades and one for Architectural Metalwork. These roles represents excellent career opportunities.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using AutoCad, Inventor, Vault & NavisWorks, (primarily using Schueco systems) to design Architectural façade systems and Metalwork
  • Taking the lead in company Project Design team Meetings with Contractor & Client representatives to achieve construction status proposals.
  • Procuring validating calculations from retained consultants for structural, thermal, acoustic & dynamic performance of systems (Facades)
  • Procuring validating calculations from retained consultants for structural & dynamic performance of proposals (Architectural Metalwork)
  • Producing accurate fabrication drawings & liaise with workshop to ensure structures etc., are constructed to design & specification (Architectural Metalwork)

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proven post-grad experience gained within Architectural Metalwork / façade Design / Fabrication
  • Experience of AutoCad, Inventor, Vault & NavisWorks
  • Experience of Schueco systems
  • Thorough understanding of building facade science

Details of Package:

  • Designer (Facades) 35k to 40K PA + PR Bonus
  • Designer (Architectural Metalwork) 34k to 37k PA + Company Performance Related Bonus
  • Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8.45 am to 5.00 pm. Friday 8.45 am to 3.45 pm / 25 Days paid holiday + Bank holidays
