Are you a design engineer, wanting to build on your heavy engineering design experience and progress into a leadership position, where you will receive tailored training to support your development and accelerate your career?

Do you want to work on technically challenging projects and become an expert name in your field, designing bespoke centrifugal machinery for an international client base, and play a pivotal role in the company’s continued success within a Design Manager role?

Established over 40 years ago, they have recently taken on new contracts for international clients and are now looking for a Design Engineer to step into a Manager role, to help the company grow and keep up with demand.

You will be responsible for managing large centrifugal projects from concept to completion, liaising with clients to understand their needs and using CAD software to design or modify existing design to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for looking into design factors such as operational efficiency, material use and cost.

The Role

Designing bespoke centrifugal machinery

Management of projects from conception to completion

Use of CAD software to design bespoke machinery

Overseeing internal processes such as bill of materials

Progression into a Design Manager positionThe Person

Design Engineer or similar

Experience with heavy engineering design
