Depot Manager

Location: Darlaston, WS10 8LN

Salary:Competitive salary plus company car, bonus, pension, and healthcare

Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

This position is responsible for managing the collection and processing of recovered paper. If you’re a well-rounded leader, with a key focus on health and safety, this could be the role for you. What will you be doing?

  • Providing visible, approachable, and exceptional leadership and maximising quality and efficiency through team management.
  • Ensuring the depot is resourced effectively and driving efficiencies to maximise profit.
  • Driving innovation and providing strategic thinking and understanding of the external market.
  • Providing high-level customer relationship management.
  • Delivering effective budgets and monitoring financials, overseeing profit and loss accounts, including forecasting, sales growth, and profits.
  • Ensuring safety remains at the forefront of everything.
  • Planning, scheduling, and issuing internal audit reports for all audits.
  • Carrying out performance discussions to ensure site succession is in place.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in leading/managing an operational team.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Transport CPC.
  • COTC / Wamitab.
  • Previous experience within the waste industry and/or recycling commodity market is desirable.
  • Level 3 - 5 in Leadership & Management would be beneficial.
