What You’ll DoThe Depot Assistant - Service & Repair will report to the Repair Centre Manager and support the day-to-day operations, upholding GSCS standards and be responsible for preparation and low-level maintenance of fleet.Key Responsibilities Include
  • Unloading and loading of vehicles and Fleet with the use of forklift trucks and other associated lifting equipment
  • General duties involved in hire activities and site working when required.
Equipment
  • Cleaning of equipment post hire
  • Basic servicing activities under the supervision of qualified personnel
  • Inventory (Stores) Responsibilities (receiving and logging stock at the depot)
Administration
  • Completion of all necessary Service reports on equipment
Qhse
  • Maintain the yard and workshop in a neat and tidy state in accordance with Aggreko GSCS (Global Service Centre Standards)
  • Ensure all yard/workshop equipment is in safe/good working order
  • Ensure safety of self and others at all times
  • Complies with PPE and site rules
  • Reports all near misses and any incidents
The duties described above cover the focus of the role, however from time to time you may be required to carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business.Who We’re Looking For…You will be educated to a high school level (Math’s and English GCSE level or equivalent) or having relevant experience in a similar role. You will have good communication, organisational skills and be capable of upholding GSCS standards.
