The role:

This is a 16 month FTC position based in our Support Centre in North Bristol.

Bupa Dental Care are currently in the process of implementing a new practice management system called Dentally to all of our practices. The role will entail assisting in the development, testing and support of this project along with its interaction with our finance systems; with the aim to ensure the system is fit for purpose and reporting is accurate, in particular for income and dentist pay purposes.

Key responsibilities include-

  • Working with the Dentally Finance Lead and Project Team to review current processes and make sure the Dentally system accommodates the functionality to recognise income accurately for all different revenue streams within the business.
  • To test any development work within the Dentally system to ensure the outcome is as expected
  • To review the Finance output for practices who have been converted to the Dentally System to ensure accurate income recognition.
  • To support practices with any queries relating to the Finance output and raise any issue to the Project Team.

What we’re looking for:

  • A financial background (AAT or part qualified accountant)
  • A good understanding of double entry accounting
  • Previous experience working on projects (experience with system changes is desirable)
  • Experience with data analysis
  • A good communicator
  • Strong excel skills
  • Pro-active and has a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Background in Healthcare industry (desirable)
  • Experience in working with CODA (desirable)
