An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated part time qualified Dental Hygienist to join the University Dental Hospital. This includes working 7.5hrs per week based on our Staff clinic working with patients providing special care dentistry.You should have extensive experience as a Dental Hygienist, good communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. We are looking for a dynamic individual who prides in delivering high quality care and shares the vision of this service.You will provide treatment exclusively to patients with complex medical, physical and behavioural/managerial needs.We will offer you a dynamic, friendly working environment, a full induction programme and an individual personal development plan to guide your development within the role.The ability to travel across sites in a timely manner is essential.The Dental Hygienist will provide dental care for priority groups including older people and adults requiring special care dentistry.To be involved in the delivery of Dental Health promotion and preventive programs.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.Cardiff and Vale University Health Boardis one of the largest Integrated Health Boards in the UK, employing over 15,000 staff, providing over 100 specialist services.
